Success


     Success is your past and your future.  You are what you do.  You are what you reflect.  You are what you make.  Nobody's perfect, not even the President, the King, or the Prince.  No one can choose his destiny.  You can be 9 out of 10, but there's times when you just can't reach the 10.  However, with some hard work and Faith, I think that you can be 9.50 or maybe an 11, who knows?
     I've always thought that we have to live for our future,  and that's good.  But I forgot about my present.  Having a life that you can look up to in the moment is so wonderful.  So please, don't you ever forget about your present.  Don't stick with your past or future, because you'll miss a lot of incredible things that are happening now.
     ''When you never try, you'll never know,'' –Cold Play, Fix you.  Some song lyrics are so touching.  Please admit that you listen to music based on your mood.  If you're happy, you'll listen to some Pop music.  If you're sad, you'll listen to some melancholy music.  If you don't know, then you'll listen to your favorite songs.  Just like your life.  You create based on your mood.  You treat based on your mood.  You love based on your mood.  You respect based on your mood.  You even eat based on your mood.  And the list will never ends, because you are you, no matter what. 
     ''The sun will come out tomorrow,'' –Tomorrow.  I see people who are negative no matter what!  They hate everything.  They're oppossessed with the negativity.  They're in love with the negative mood.  I just don't get them!  They have everything, they have the perfect lives.  They're much more amazing when they're thinking, and living in a positive way.   Being positive depends on one thing, the start of your day.  Why do people hate mornings?!  Why don't you just love them?!  Why don't you get excited about tomorrow?!  Think in a better way, please.  ''Start your day with a fresh start.'' –A commercial. 
     Just enjoy your success, because you did it with your hard work.  Be sure that you can't be 9, or 10, because you can be 11 out of 10.  Be positive!  Because you can!  Start your day with… don’t get angry not a fresh start.  Just a bowl of cereal will make you happy, my friend.

Hoping before McDowell's School Board

Not every exchange experience is the same, simply because every student is different, and every place is different too. Comparing an experience to another is a huge mistake, yet looking at each one individually triggers curiosity to those who are not part of it to know more.  Not every day is rainbows and sunshine, but surly not every other day is clouds and rain. One bad day shall never ruin a year long experience, and one good day will create memories that will spring in the happiness of many other days to come.     My day today was one of a kind. A day that shall keep me motivated for a good period of time. It's a day that I can smile at and tell myself that I actually invested my time in the project of my successful ways of living. I'll never be the wise person who advises people with powerful talks.  I'll never be the big boss who's in charge. Instead, or at least for now, I am going to live for the present and do my best in influencing a change in this communit...

The Superintendent and the Gift

The time of starting to wrap up my exchange year came with the idea of wrapping a gift for the superintendent of McDowell County Schools. I figured that one whole year that brought to my life the bitter and the sweet deserves to be finished properly. It's like being on a long vacation and buying souvenirs to be taken home with me. But, the reality of living each day knowing that you are going to a place to reflect a certain message is much greater than the thought of being at the beach and knowing that you have to reflect an image of a good tan and outfit.   Back to my main idea, the gift! Mr. Mark Garrett is the superintendent of McDowell County Schools. He has been supporting me ever since I met him. He has a personality that attracts anyone to talk with him. He made me realize that a great leader is a humble and caring person. He showed great consideration to anything I had to say, and this really is an important thing for me.
